70 - $4,466.
91 per month DOQ Benefits include:
Eligibility for medical, dental & vision insurance, HRA VEBA and/or HSA, PERS retirement plan options, life insurance, long-term disability, 37.
5-hour work week, paid holidays, paid vacation, and paid sick leave, time-based step increases.
Paid twice per month on the 10th and the 25th of each month.
JOB
Summary:
Provides outreach, engagement, and intensive case management services to individuals.
The Case Manager performs outreach, long-term engagement and supportive services for participants through intensive case management activities and collaboration with Managed Care Organizations, local partners, service providers, housing providers and other community organizations.
This position is non-exempt and subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
Work is performed independently under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor or designee.
Essential Functions:
Must work effectively with the client, public, community partners and other employees.
Maintain a participant caseload and referrals.
Engage participants in the community, to establish a working relationship and offer services.
Provide assessment of Individuals' needs to determine stressors and targeted intervention points.
Assist participants in gaining access to a variety of programs (e.
g.
, Medicaid, SSI, housing, et); assist participants in navigating barriers to access.
Assist with developing a person-centered, individualized service plan based upon individual strengths.
Provide structured Intensive Case Management services consistent with agency policies.
Provide crisis response support, within agency standards Complete all required trainings within identified time frames.
Be familiar and follow all state and federal laws relevant to position and scope of responsibilities.
Be familiar and follow applicable departments and all County Personnel Policies and Procedures.
Perform other duties and assignments as requested by the Clinical Supervisor or designee.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Possess knowledge and skills of case management approaches.
Knowledgeable of harm reduction strategies, motivational interviewing, and relevant evidence-based practices.
Knowledgeable of common mental health and substance use diagnosis.
Familiar with outreach engagement approaches, service referral and available community resources, recovery supports and organizations for those with mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders; the regional system of care including mental health agencies and substance abuse and recovery services; Community resources, housing providers; federal and state entitled benefits, and other programs individuals may qualify.
Able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and effectively communicate in high stress situations.
Able to effectively support culturally diverse, and socioeconomically disadvantaged, individuals with disabilities, and populations disproportionately impacted by the criminal legal system.
Able exercise tact and discretion in obtaining cooperation of others.
Ability to effectively communicate and problem solve under pressure in high stress situations.
Able to exercise discretion and independent judgment in all areas of job performance, including adherence to appropriate professional boundaries and strict confidentiality practices; relevant Federal and State laws, rules and regulations, to include HIPAA and 42 CFR part 2.
Familiar with outreach engagement approaches, service referral and available community resources, recovery supports and organizations for those with substance use and co-occurring disorders; the regional system of care including mental health agencies and substance abuse and recovery services; Community resources, housing providers; federal and state entitled benefits, and other programs individuals may qualify.

EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or related human services field from an accredited institution - Preferred.
Minimum three years professional experience working in community mental health, Preferred.
Preferred lived experience, defined as a current or past recipient of behavioral health services and/or with current or past involvement in the criminal legal system.
Experience working with individuals with complex life issues and/or behavioral health conditions preferred.
Experience providing street-based outreach and engagement highly desired.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
A Washington state Department of Health Agency Affiliated Counselor certification, required within 60 days of hire.
A valid National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
Valid driver's license required.
Must successfully pass a background, a driving record check and a pre-employment physical.
Is not a State or Federal (OIG) and System for Award Management (SAM) excluded provider, in any capacity for the Medicare, Medicaid, and all Federal health Care programs.
Able to provide appropriate case management and support services to program participants without impaired ability to remain in active recovery.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Work is performed in office and in the field with travel expected throughout the county.
Hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation skills are necessary to operate computers and various office machines, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Because of the nature of this position, duties must be performed during regular hours within the department or as designated by the Counseling Services Director.
Target working population are individuals with mental health, substance use and related behavioral health needs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
