07 per hour DOE 30-hour work week Benefits include:

Paid twice per month on the 10th and the 25th of each month.
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
As directed by the Administrator or in their absence, the Chief Deputy Clerk, this person shall perform those duties necessary to ensure daily operations of the District Court office and is responsible for making operating decisions.
Works cooperatively and effectively with the public and other employees.
This position is non-exempt, and subject to a collective bargaining unit.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, speak and write the English language.
Must be bondable to handle money.
Must type 45 wpm.
Proficient with MS office, Word, and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good public relations including ability to handle stressful situations.
Ability to work accurately and independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and security information.
Organizational skills required.
Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
JIS experience preferred.
Must successfully pass a background check, driving record check and a pre-employment physical.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsible for scanning and filing of all documents received.
Responsible for computer entry and accuracy of documents received.
Responsible for monetary transactions.
Responsible for the close of each day's financial transactions.
Assist with anti-harassment and other form processing.
Assist with daily correspondence from customers, attorneys, and other departments.
Monitor audio recorder and draft minutes during court proceedings.
Remain neutral in all proceedings.
Prepare calendars for law days for postings and distribution.
Prepare hearing minutes.
Mark and maintain exhibits, returning them after appropriate waiting period.
Responsible for the jury processing, from start to finish.
Provide assistance to public and other employees.
Perform miscellaneous duties as they arise and are assigned by the Administrator.
Provide backup for Chief Deputy Clerk.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in an office setting with periods of standing, sitting and kneeling.
Hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation skills are necessary to operate computers and various office machines.
This position also requires good listening skills and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Because of the nature of this position, duties must be performed during regular hours within the department (no telecommuting).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
